Totally Cool Inc. Recalls Ice Cream Products After Outbreak Investigation

Over 60 Products Affected

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), in collaboration with state and local partners, have investigated an outbreak of Listeria monocytogenes infections linked to ice cream products made by Totally Cool Inc., a Maryland-based ice cream manufacturer.

The Ice Cream House Voluntary Recall

In response to the investigation, The Ice Cream House has voluntarily recalled all dairy ice cream products and non-dairy parve frozen dessert. A complete list of affected products is available on the company's website.

Known Brands Affected

Some of the best-known affected brands include ChipWich, Friendly's, and Real Kosher Ice Cream.
